“What is the difference between a boudoir session and an erotic session?”

This is probably our most frequently asked question and an important one! Please visit our Session Options Page for a detailed explanation of the distinct differences between these two session styles.

“Where will my session take place?”

If you are in Columbus, your session will typically take place in our Franklinton Arts District studio. We do from time to time have outdoor photo sessions, or we can come to your home or hotel suite. The choice is entirely up to you. We frequently travel to clients for sessions so if you’re interested in a session with us but can’t make it to Columbus, that’s OK! Often times we rent studio space in cities we enjoy traveling to and book sessions while we are in town. These sessions are priced just like a “local” Columbus photo session. Sometime our clients prefer that we travel to them, or meet them at a travel destination to do a shoot. We travel worldwide to provide a session that is special to our clients. In these cases there are additional travel fees. Please join our mailing list (we will not send you endless emails) to keep up to date about which cities we will be in. Please contact us directly about scheduling a destination photo shoot. We will do our best to accommodate you and give you a better feel about the additional cost for travel.

“If you provide the location for my session, is it included in the session fee?”

Yes!

Whether in our Columbus studio or in a city we travel to and rent a studio or hotel space to have multiple sessions, the cost is included in your session fee.  The only time there are extra fees are if we are traveling to a destination specifically to photograph you. A honeymoon, a special vacation, your favorite adult resort. If you have a special destination in mind, please contact us and we can give you specific pricing and scheduling.

“Are you LGBTQ friendly photographers?”

We have been asked if we are LGBTQ friendly photographers? The answer to that question is that we are people friendly photographers. Our passion is to capture YOU. See who YOU are. Our mantra is that “you are enough”. It’s not just a slogan, it’s what we believe. We believe that each of us are enough, just who we are, just as we are. Even while we strive to be more.

Once you have been in front of our camera, you are a part of our family. We love making connections. Documenting connection thru our lens and building relationships with our clients who become our family. So yes, we are absolutely LGBTQ friendly.

“What should I wear and/or bring for my session?”

Once you’ve scheduled your session, you will receive a welcome email from us where we share the link to our online session prep guide. This guide has some helpful hints and tricks to get you prepared for your session day, including suggestions on wardrobe and lingerie. Ultimately, wearing whatever makes you feel sexy is the best option but we have shot entire sessions with a just a bed sheet, so wardrobe is not something we want clients stressing over. We will also have pre-session phone consultation to make sure that all of your questions are answered.

“How far in advance should I schedule my session?”

If you have date and time restrictions for your session, such as you need your pictures back in time to gift for your anniversary, or we are vacationing in Miami in October, I suggest that you contact us as soon as possible to get your session scheduled. While last-minute sessions are sometimes available, we do tend to book in advance and do not want you to miss out on such an exciting and rewarding experience.

Last-minute sessions are considered to be a session that is being scheduled with less than 7 days until the session date and will require payment in full to schedule.

We always advise clients who need their pictures back by a certain date to schedule their session a minimum of 8 weeks before the day they hope to have their pictures in hand. Rush processing of galleries may be available for an additional fee and can be requested when finalizing your session scheduling with me.  If you are ordering a print package , please allow 10 weeks.

If you have special scheduling needs or time restrictions, email or text us at 614-579-8321 for more information.

“Can we talk before I book a session?”

Yes – in fact we encourage it. Even if you book a session before we have a chance to have a telephone consultation, we then require a phone conversation before your session date. A major part of a successful photo session is that connection between a photographer and client. You need to be comfortable with us and we with you. In fact we encourage you to follow us on instagram, twitter and or facebook to get a better feel for who we are and how we approach what we do.

“How do I schedule a session?”

All of our scheduling is done entirely online for privacy and convenience. First, select “Session Options” from the main menu of the website. Read through the session style descriptions to decide which style is the best for you. Click through to check out the session package options for your selected session style and submit an online Session Interest Form through the link at the bottom of the session page.

After receiving your session interest form, we will check our calendar for availability and will send you either the link to choose your session package or alternative scheduling options. A session is not considered booked until the $200 non-refundable deposit is paid.

“Can I bring a friend to my session?”

The way you feel during your session greatly affects the overall look and feel of your final images. Our job is to ease your nerves and help you feel as comfortable as possible so that you have an enjoyable session experience and a beautiful photo gallery. One of the most important things we have learned is that less is more, and while most people think that having a familiar face in the room during a session they are nervous about would be helpful, this actually isn’t so.

Outside influences can change the feel of the session, interrupt the flow of the shoot and break our concentration. This being said, it is your sessions and if you feel you would be more comfortable bringing a friend then you can do so.  They will be asked not to interupt the session and we have a strict no cell phone photos policey. The must also be over 21 years of age.

“Will you BOTH be at the photo session?”

YES. Whether we are photographing a couple, a single female or a single male, we will both be at the session. Both of us actively participating in creating a memorable experience that produces some amazing images.

“I can’t make it to Columbus. Can you come to my city?”

I frequently travel to my clients for their sessions and I’d love to come to your city. When traveling, I provide my clients with a session experience either in a hotel local to the area or in the comfort of their own home. Sessions are available worldwide. Travel fees do apply. Get on our TRAVEL LIST for details.

“Are there any restrictions of what we can do during our erotic couples session?”

Your session time is yours to do as you please and the only restrictions for your session are of a legal nature.

no weapons during your session time – all subjects being photographed must be 21 years of age or older – all parties must consent to be photographed

With that being said, your only restriction is your comfort level and these sessions generally produce sexually explicit imagery. Please let us know ahead of time if you have a specific fetish or kink. We can then discuss whether a unique venue or set might be appropriate.

“Can we add a third person to our erotic session?”

Absolutely! If you have a third person you’re wanting to bring into your erotic session, as long as they are 21 years of age or older and consent to be photographed, you are more than welcome to invite them along. However, as our client, you should know that our photography services agreement is with you and your session images will be provided to you and you alone. It will be up to you to provide the images to your third party should you choose to and we advise you to make your own agreement with your third party to avoid any issues regarding the use of your images.

“Can you supply a person or model to take part in a session with my girlfriend/wife?”

No. We get this question often and the answer will always be no.

Do we have an issue photographing your girlfriend/wife with someone other than you? We open-minded people who photograph naked/half-naked people and have been doing this a very long time. Everyone has their “thing” and we have no problem photographing whatever your “thing” may be. However, it’s entirely up to you to figure your situation out. Everyone at the shoot will be required to prove they are over 21 and sign consent.

“Do you have a separate erotic gallery somewhere that isn’t part of your portfolio that I can view?”

Our erotic sessions generally produce sexually explicit images and for this reason, the majority of erotic session images will never be shared. I only allow web appropriate images captured at the start of some of erotic sessions to be added to our portfolio. Please do not contact me asking for an erotic gallery. There isn’t one. There are more than enough images in our portfolio to decide if you like our style of artistry and the quality of our work. It is because of this strict personal policy, you can feel confident knowing your most intimate session images will only be seen if you yourself choose to share them.”
